Hi! I'm Dan

and I try to condense myself into a one page website

Hire me!

I am an experienced co-founder / COO / CSO who started out as a business lawyer but switched to more business-oriented roles.I'm very good in finding structures in chaos and can distinguish actually novel problems from the already solved ones.I work best with IT/high-tech projects/startups – i.e. in situations which require a lot of first principles decision making and risk management.I'm less useful in more traditional structures with established roles and routines, where some of my stronger sides might be redundant.Hire me if you need someone with high context window and varied experience to do a deep dive into your business innards.

Side projects

I'm working on two pet projects in my free time – those are the things I wish existed, so I might as well make them myself:- an app to map fitness adaptations and find low-hanging fruits in training
- an app to create daily reading lists from your own curated texts
If you find these ideas interesting, you can help me by filling out the forms below:

Areas of interest

I'm easily fascinated by complexity, and given that most complex things share the same universe, fascination begets fascination. I'm especially susceptible to:

  • Applied rationality (predictions!)

  • Exercise science (hypertrophy!)

  • Linguistics (signed languages!)

  • Ethics (coordination problems!)

You'll be able to find my thoughts on that topics in my Substack:

Quintessential concepts

Here's a list of concepts I find helpful; it'll grow into a separate page, but we need to start somewhere. So let's start with:
